Al Unser Jr was a very successful Indy Car driver having won a total of 34 races and two championships. Unser Jr won the Indy Car Championship in 1990 and 1994. He also won the Indy 500 two times including one of the 1992 race which was the closest 500 finish of all-time having won by .043 seconds. This special paint scheme helmet was used during the 2000 Texas 500 where Al ended up in 3rd place for the race.
