The Agajanian Willard Battery Special Race team won the 1963 Indianapolis 500 with Parnelli Jones as the driver. Parnelli was know for his accomplishments at Indianapolis 500, the Baja 1000 desert race and the Trans-Am Championship. He shared the 1961 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year Award, won the 500 pole in 1962, and he won the 1963 Indy 500 race. Parnelli retired with six Indy Car wins, four wins in 34 NASCAR starts, 25 midget car feature wins, 25 career sprint car wins and seven Trans-Am wins and a Drivers Championship in 1970. This nice crew shirt was obtained at auction from Parnelli’s estate.
