1970’s Don Prudhomme Race Used Hot Wheels Suit

Don Prudhomme is one of the most iconic Drag Racers of all-time. He has been ranked #3 all-time by the NHRA. Prudhomme reached the NHRA finals 68 times, winning 35 of 45 Funny Car Finals and 14 of 23 Top Fuel Finals. He won four consecutive NHRA Funny Car world championship titles between 1975 and 1978. Prudhomme won the US Nationals seven times. He was the first funny car driver to ever break the 250 MPH barrier in 1982. He posted a run of less than 5.20 seconds in 1989 becoming the first to do so. This suit came directly from Prudhomme and was part of his personal collection. His Hot Wheels program with Tom McEwen was one of the better known sponsorships in any type of racing. This is a very rare and desirable fire suit from the Snake.
