Freddie Agabashian competed in Midget and Indy Cars. Freddie started Midget Car Racing in his teens. He won the 1946, 1947 and 1948 Bay City Racing Association Championships. Freddie raced in the Indy 500 11 times, and he won the pole in 1952. In 1953 he finished a career best 4th and led one lap. This lap earned Freddie a Pacesetter Award. This is a very unique and historic medal.
