1977/1978 Bobby Unser and Bobby Unser Jr Race Used Helmet

Bobby Unser was part of the famous Unser racing family. He won 35 Indy Car races and the Indy Car Championship 2 times in 1968 and 1974. Bobby also won the Indy 500 three times, and he is one of 10 drivers to have accomplished this. This helmet was handed down to his son to use in the 1978 season. It is likely that this helmet was used during the 1977 season by Bobby Unser and perhaps seasons before. This helmet was obtained from a team mechanic.
